"The first night was noisy a car came into car park at 2am and was blasting music out and guest or two banging doors and knocking on door The second night was better. Only a two night stay for an event. Housekeeping on Saturday did not replace complimentary tea and coffee bin not emptied and beds not straightened up after 1st night. It's basic no thrills hotel. Also lift out of order."

I phoned to say that I would be late for final check in (10pm) and Alexandra, the lovely lady on the front desk, made sure I was checked in dignity and made me feel so safe about arriving late. This was my second time visiting The Swan for work trips to Blyton Park track. Couldn’t recommend this B&B enough. Perfect for solo female travellers."

"The room was fine, not exceptional, for me, as I was only staying for 6 nights. I hadn't booked breakfast as it was only offered on a Sunday, but there is a "Sandwich Stop" attached to the hotel in the car park. Parking was adequate, but trying to exit onto the busy main road was a nightmare, as the hedges were so overgrown and hadn't been trimmed, so it was impossible to see traffic approaching from both directions. "We loved our stay at this gem of a BnB. The massive bed and the hearty breakfast gave us the energy to explore the area and made any jet lag a non-issue. Sue and Gary are wonderful hosts and provide as little or as much interaction as you want and were very helpful with ideas for locale, especially dinner. Sawby is a cute English town and the locals were very friendly when we went for walks."

"We received a warm welcome when we checked in. Our room was spotless and had quality bed/bedding etc. Also had a spacious, well appointed bathroom. We had an excellent night's sleep. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast here. All the food was first class and everyone who served us was very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel."

"We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....

"Fantastic communication from the outset. Easily found and right next door to The Mayflower public house so after a long journey there’s no further travelling to do to get an evening meal. Plenty of parking, very easy check in and an exceptional selection of produce supplied for breakfast next morning. Good heating system, great bed, powerful shower, all in all with all of the other attentions to detail a great stay, very highly recommended."

"Beautiful property in a beautiful village. Very large beer garden, large bathroom with a bath (instead of a standard shower). They provided a fan to partially compensate for lack of A/C (during a record breaking heatwave), but wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if ever in South Yorkshire. Easy FREE parking."
