"The Athens Gate Hotel was everything we were hoping for and more! The entire staff from Reception to Housekeeping were helpful, professional, friendly, and very service oriented. Our Executive Double Room with a balcony had a view of The Temple of Zeus. The Rooftop Restaurant had excellent and tasty menu selections and really talented, friendly, and professional wait staff. The restaurant had an awesome view of The Acropolis and The Parthenon. The views of the sunsets and the aforemenitoned sights were spectacular in the evening. The hotel was located in a very safe and walkable neigborhood and really close to The Plaka, The Acropolis, and The Parthenon. The only negative thing we could say is concerning our room location. We were directly underneath the restaurant and bar and our room was extremely noisy during their operating hours. Especially during their breakfast service! I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Athens!"

"Very nice hotel just East of the Plaka. Pool/Bar and Restaurant were both rooftop with nice views of the Acropolis. Food and service in the restaurant were excellent. Included breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Expensive at @ $450 per night."

"Great Hotel in Gylfada, Athens . Clean room, wonderful breakfast, service was great ! We also ate at the hotels rooftop restaurant and the food was excellent 10/10. The pool area was also very nice . Good location close to marina and shops and restaurants by the sea!"
