"We loved the location, inside the walls; we enjoyed walking along the castle walls and wandering the twisty, old, cobblestone streets. We found excellent cafes and restaurants within Óbidos and did a day trip by bus to Nazaré. However, the 1 bathroom was tiny- it was challenging to even turn around. The bathroom sink did not have a stopper and I didn’t feel comfortable putting in and cleaning my contact lenses over that little sink. "The views are priceless. The accommodation is a bit rustic but very nice. Great restaurants are a 15 minute walk (although the options are quite limited in early February). If you're from Ontario you'll get a kick out of the porcelain tile on the side of the building. Sorry, no spoiler pictures!"

"The apartment was wonderfully historic. Fit with the charm of Obidos. With age though comes a bit of musty scent, but was part of the charm. Bedrooms were big and sunny. Bathroom large. Living space small but you don’t come here to sit and watch tv. I would stay again but also look around fir other accommodations too for fun"
