"The location of this property was perfect for us - walking distance to everything we wanted to visit, close to many good restaurants and cafés, parking available at the near by mall … And all this, on a relatively quiet street, no noise bothered us at all … The property is spacious, modern and clean. We really enjoyed our stay Paulo was amazing checking us in and providing a great overview of the attractions and Luz helped us promptly with the check out. Highly recommended!"

"The Pause apartments are in a very central location. The hosts, Beatriz and Gil were wonderful. They were very responsive to all of our needs and allowed us to store our luggage on the last day while we went on a tour. I will say that our place was a bit noisy early in the morning, once for an alarm that was going off and the second sounded like some construction (constant hammering starting at 7 am). Otherwise it was a good stay."

"The third floor apartment has quite possibly the most amazing view from any property I've stayed at in 20 years of international travel. The apartment is in an amazing location, just minutes from the Av. de Diogo Leite on the south bank of the Douro River and all of its restaurants and Port bars. The apartment has everything one would need including small kitchen. The apartment is small, suitable to only two people at most. As mentioned in other reviews, the stairs to the top are steep and...

"The apartments are in a great location close to restaurants and port houses. We have a wonderful view of the river from our room. The two ladies that we have spoken with at the front desk have been very helpful and pleasant. We would recommend this hotel for those staying in Gaia. "

"We had a very welcoming check in by Legia who provided lots of information about things to do in Porto. The room we had was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The kitchenette had sufficient cutlery and dishes to prepare food and eat in if one choose to. There are tons of restaurants in the immediate area. The hotel is in a close proximity to most major sites making walking to them very convenient. I would happily stay here again and recommend to others. "

"This was a cute property but challenging to access (especially with luggage) due to the many stairs in the area. The apartment had all the amenities you would want and a lovely king size bed. It was comfortable and close to everything. We were able to get parking near by but drive on some pretty tight streets to access. With no luggage and no car the place is great but luggage and a vehicle makes this place a bit tricky. "

"Fabio was an excellent host. He was very clear and provided a lot of information that helped us enjoy our stay in a foreign country. He provided us with suggestions on places to eat and places to visit. We really did enjoy our visit/vacation. We had difficulty with the Taxi driver getting us to the location and it was very helpful that Fabio was able to speak with the taxi driver in his language and help us get to our apartment safely. The other thing we really appreciated was Fabio helping us...

"This was such a charming apartment, high ceilings, lots of windows, very clean and well-furnished. The location was perfect for us with access to the metro and buses but also walkable to lots of attractions. The checkin instructions were clear and the staff were very helpful.
