The Glengower
10/10 Excellent
"The Glengower was perfect for our two night stay in Aberystwyth. Our room on the third floor provided a good night's sleep and was a good size, with a good bathroom. One thing to note is that there is no lift, so if that is an issue for you, you would be advised to go for a lower floor. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of options. We took advantage of the excellent evening meal from the bar, which we ate on the terrace at the front with a sea view, but which could have also been eaten inside in a very pleasant area. The best aspect of the Glengower was the very friendly and helpful staff."

"This is a quirky place just off the promenade ,there are no staff at reception but an envelope with all details and actual keys to your room and front door.We could see the sea from the bay window and had a shared bathroom ,there are rooms with en suite but fully booked for our stay. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options,two cheerful girls cooking,no sign of the owners but it all worked smoothly ,also the eggs are from a local farm."

"This hotel is very pleasant, my room was nice and bed very comfortable. All clean and staff always attentive and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Great location too."

"The hotel was clean, tidy, very modern. Staff member at reception was very polite, friendly and welcoming. Beds were comfy and bathroom was clean and tidy. We did not eat at the restaurant but it looked very nice and spacious. It is a little bit out of the town and about a 20-25min walk to the centre. There's a retail park opposite. I would definitely stay here again."
