"Wow, what a delightful surprise. The property is an amazing well-preserved and well-furnished early 19th century estate, converted into a B&B. Jean (our host) was extremely amiable and a wonderful conversationalist. She accommodated our late arrival (sorry!) and showed us directly into a living room with a roaring fire. Served a full Irish breakfast the following morning. I'd definitely stay again - and bring others."

"Overall a good location, quiet, within easy reach of the towns of Cahir and Clonmel. However it's the little things that can make all the difference and when added all together...If you fear spiders - the Loft was full of cobwebs - on day one I spent an hour vacuum cleaning them, still that wasn't enough but tolerable. No wardrobe for clothes - there were two unusable ramshackle standing cabinets with old brown newspapers. (Why?)Nowhere to hang wet towels or wet clothes, nor a shelf in the bathroom for ones toothbrush etc.The toilet seat was broken.The fridge - the bottle shelf in the door was missing.And finally two of the five skylights had blinds but both were broken.All these things that can be easily remedied, hopefully, for the next guest."
