"I didn’t realise we had the whole floor to ourselves. Three bedrooms which was great. Good location in relation to trains and the staff were fantastic and gave really good recommendations for restaurants."

"Incredible stay. Very quiet area, but close to transit and walkable to a lot of sight-seeing locations and great food. Hosts are extremely responsive and staff is very helpful. Had great rests here. Would stay again the next time I'm in Osaka"

"Great spot for families. Clean, spacious, convenient location. 4 beds worked great for our family of 6. Within walking distance of Osaka station and Fukushima station, lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Was a great home base to explore Osaka, Kyoto and Nara."

"We paid for the executive lounge, but it wasn’t accessible thru-out the day. It’s only open from 2 PM - 9:30pm
I like to use executive lounges, so that I can do zoom/phone calls as needed, or just a place to check my email. Also typical lounges offer continental breakfast, and a little bit more food during dinner time.
This one only offers charcuterie.
This morning I had an important zoom call but wasn’t able to use the executive lounge because they said it was closed. I had to ask for management since I wasn’t able to find any place to take the zoom call and the lounge was completely empty anyways."
"The room was clean, but there wasn’t a lot of room to put our luggage. It was a bit difficult to find coming out of Umeda Station, but it was very convenient once we got our bearings. There are many dining and shopping options nearby. It was nice to have many laundry machines, and you didn’t need to put in soap. It took many hours to dry clothes in the washer dryer combo, but I tried a different machine the next morning, and I think the machine I was using was just not good."
"The room was comfortable, well-appointed, and surprisingly spacious for Namba. The air conditioning and television were also very easy to use, which is a welcome touch for non-Japanese-speaking travellers, as hotel room controls in Japan can sometimes be difficult to navigate, even with AI translation tools.
What let the hotel down, however, was the breakfast experience. There were lengthy queues each morning simply to be seated, as only one hostess was managing the process. Most guests do not want to begin their day by waiting in line for up to 15 minutes, particularly when there are plenty of vacant tables available in a large dining area. It seemed unnecessary for guests to have to wait to be formally seated.
Once inside, there was further congestion due to there being only one coffee machine and one toaster, resulting in even more queuing in what is clearly a very busy hotel.
Overall, the room itself was excellent, but the breakfast operation would benefit from some improvements to better accommodate the number of guests."
"Excellent location. Steps away from Namba station , restaurants and shops.Self Check in and Check out. Incredible breakfast/lunch 6am-2pm Western and Japanese. It’s small. No room for luggages. Luggage’s are expected to push under the bed at all time otherwise there’s no room to walk. Bathroom is small. Barely room for daily essentials. Beautiful rooftop pool and public bath house. In house 7/11 and laundry room are pluses."
"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Monterey in Japan. The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Everything felt organized and spotless, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was excellent.
The only downside was finding the entrance to the parking area. The logistics and access were somewhat confusing at first and could benefit from clearer signage. Once we located it, everything went smoothly.
Overall, this was a fantastic stay with excellent accommodations, and I would gladly return on a future trip to Japan. Highly recommended for anyone looking for clean, comfortable rooms and great service."
"Wonderful hotel, modern room, amazing views of the city, delicious food and breakfast in the lounge, friendly staff, perfect location, cool rooftop bars, easy to catch taxis from. Overall, we loved staying here. We loved the city of Osaka, and we will definitely return to this hotel."
"This was a really great hotel. We were super well situated and could walk to pretty much everything. Just a 5-10 minute walk to some of the best street food and about a 20 minute walk to the super busy river front."
