"Loved the decor that was related to the Muscle Shoals music history. The only things I didn’t like were the pillows, flat and I would have liked a coffee pot in the room. All staff excellent. Great dining experience in Grill 360. Good music in Swampers Bar and Grill. The pool area is beautiful."

"if all you are looking for is a bed this is not a bad place to stay but if you are looking for the free breakfast go somewhere else. Not much there if they are open when they advertise. Not much selection. The room was ok, but the staff does not clean or replace towels every day. We were there 5 days and only had them come in to clean twice. Plenty of parking as most nights there wasn't many rooms occupied."

We usually stop in Gardendale but after our last visit there ( a disappointment) decided to drive into Athens. So glad we did. The Hampton Inn did not disappoint. Right off the interstate and close to the infamous Buc-ees. "
