The self service mini bar and the beautiful outdoor seating area, added to the enchantment of my trip. Within easy walking distance of the train station and the Alsfeld city center. "Fantastic experience and definitely recommend this quaint hotel. It used to be a mansion to a rich aristocratic family (von Löw), who then became a poor aristocratic family and the building fell into disrepair. Completely renovated by investors 27 years ago, but a lot of the original features remain. Property has easy parking and is located just outside of Butzbach; easily reachable via the A5. Easy access to Frankfurt. We had an amazing, friendly, and very attentive host. Restaurant and bar on the property. The restaurant had a one-page menu, but the meals on it were all excellent. I certainly would stay there again. "

The hotel was extremely clean, the breakfast was amazing with a variety of food options each day. I am vegetarian and the food was fresh. Most importantly all of the staff was remarkable and the cost was reasonable. I would strongly recommend this hotel if you are in the Gießen area."
