"The staff were beyond helpful - we were looking for some local shopping, and food suggestions to make the most out of our 2 night stay in Lagos. All of the staff that we interacted with were able to provide mapped suggestions, make reservations, and even assist in give suggestions regarding booking an off-site tour. The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. We did not eat on-site due to the cost, and the desire to try local eateries, but it did smell delicious!"

"Great, clean hotel in Lagos. The rooms and balcony overlooking the pool are spacious. Quite a bit far from the main old town Lagos (10 min drive or 30 min walk). There are a few dining options within 15 min walk, a small grocery store 10 min walk and Praia Dona Ana is 15 min walk, as well as the trail start for Ponte de Piedade. The pool was very well maintained and the onsite restaurant / pizza take away was delicious."

"Firstly, and this is important to note, do NOT worry or be concerned with hideous, abandoned building adjacent to property. Villa Doris is EXCELLENT! Building is safe, very clean and apartments were spacious and AC ran well. It has very basic decor, but comfortable. Enjoyed having full kitchen. But the best thing is the location! Steps from front door is Praia Dona Anna as well as the boardwalk which you can hike to many stunning viewpoints all along the way to the lighthouse. If you walk in the other direction, you can see more beaches and end up in old town. Hotel is very close to a full grocery store, but there is a mini mart at the corner. Do note that website lists laundry as an amenity. They charge per item! Instead, drive to local grocery store Spar (5mins away). Next to grocery entrance is a coin laundry. The only other negative is albeit a very safe underground garage, the spaces and turns are very tight and can be very difficult to park."
