Marriott Residences Salgados Resort, Algarve

"It’s a nice spacious property especially if you book residence with many pools and restaurants. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Only few things that we found can make stay even better but not something that will be deal breaker. If you like late night snacks or room services there are no facility after 10:30 at the hotel premises but you can order food from Uber eats. As it’s a big place it can do with having a grocery store or convenience store on premises. Secondly no private beach, there is a buggy to beach but no beach loungers are provided by the hotel, so if you use the ones at the beach, you have to pay for them (which we only found out once we got there). It would have been nice to know before hand. Overall we had nice stay. Thank you team"

"The hotel has great pools and a wonderful hydro pool which is like a jacuzzi but not as hot. It has individual sections you can lay on and turn on personal bubbles. Loved that! It has two beaches you can walk to down a lot of steps. The closer one is a small beautiful secluded beach and the further away one is a large tourist one with a restaurant. I loved the breakfast which included champagne! The room was lovely. I highly recommend."

"We had the best time visiting - it was great to just sit by the pool and head down to the beach when we fancied it. The restaurant prices were expensive but ultimately for the convenience it was okay. We would come back again!"

"I totally recommend this property for people who just want to have excellent experience. SPA is beautiful, Rita is perfect therapist, territory is very green, clean and neat, pools are amazing.Front desk and all staff is friendly and helpful. Food is really tasty in restaurants . You have selection of restaurants on the territory. There is beautiful golf course in front of your property, I enjoyed playing there. especially thanks to Kan Jo restaurant and Chef Joax and staff they arrange unforgettable experience for us."

"Wonderful hotel, very relaxing and peaceful but also great for families. Our apartment was split level and well equipped with a washer and a dish washer. It had a lovely terrace at the back which provided direct access to the beach walk way. Breakfast was lovely and staff were very friendly. Definitely try the freshly squeezed orange juice. This was perfect for us as we wanted something quiet and a bit more secluded. There are a few restaurants in walking distance and a supermarket but not much more so if you do want more then either hire a car or probably not the place for you. Pool is large and cool and was never that busy, always managed to get a lounger which were padded with nice towels. Not all that many apartments and villas so it’s not overrun. Had a massage which was nice, gym is small but we were here for relaxing so didn’t use. Sauna and steam but sauna out of use whilst we were here so didn’t get to use. Loads of quiet places to lounge and relax. Recommended!!"

"Really classy and calm, a resort for people who dont want the hustle and bustle of all inclusives. Excellent food, healthy and plenty of choice for vegetarians too. Love the proximity to the beach. We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite and the living area and kitchen were so useful. Highly recommend, we will definitely come back. Our group consisted of my parents in their 70's and my teenage children."

"Absolutely wonderful 4 night stay here. Sonia and her staff were so friendly and helpful. Hotel is beautiful, stylish but plenty character. So quiet as well but so close to Albufiera. Booking up for September as well"

"Great location for the main strip. Staff were generally friendly throughout with no complaints Be mindful you have to pay €100 deposit for "damage protection" just in case you are unaware. Rooms were basic, but cleaned each day with fresh towels and beds made. However, the breakfast was not to my liking, but still found something to eat. Hot and cold options available including, cereal fruit, yoghurt, eggs, beans toast, sausage and bacon. Can't fault it really due to the location in the centre of the strip."
