"The location is outstanding, so no need to have a car. CBD, southbank, train station, all very close and in walking distance. Note that parking is expensive and hard. Its either a carpark that allows you one entry one exit per pay, or the hotels valet ($80 a day). The hotel itself is a bit dated, but still has a luxury feeling. Great gym and great spa. The rooms are a bit small, so if you need to take business calls from the room - take this into consideration. Two people cannot work from the room together."

"We stayed at Quest St Kilda for almost a week and it was a solid, no-frills option in a great location. The property is basic but clean, and the tram station is just a short walk away, making it easy to get around. The reception and cleaning staff were nice. While there aren't a lot of amenities, the small gym and laundry room was convenient for a longer stay like ours. The rooms aren't huge and can feel a little tight with two people, but for the location and the affordability compared to other options in the area, it's hard to complain. Overall, a decent and practical choice if you're after a clean, well-located base without the bells and whistles."

"I’m a regular at Middle Park. It’s sited in my favourite part of Melbourne and parking is a breeze. The rooms are well designed and fairly quiet. All hotels start to slide at some point. Things start to break, things get damaged, people take their eye off the ball. I feel like the first signs of this are starting to appear. A poorly functioning showerhead; a door that won’t properly close; dust and dirt in those hard-to-reach areas of the room, a paint chip here, a scratched cupboard there. It’s early days. The hotel and rooms are still fantastic - but will someone do an audit of all of the spaces and ensure everything is up to standard? Or will there be a slide?"

"I have stayed at this property before and was overall very pleased. This time, however, I was offered a room on the first floor, right in top of the highway going under the window of the room. The hallway was smelly, and the room was noisy. Could not stay there so asked for a different room. I was sent to a room facing the back of the building - but it was also facing the apartement next door. I could see how well they made their bed and they could see straight into my room. Zero privacy. No privacy curtness, just blackout ones, so I had to choose - light, quiet, fresh air or privacy. Could only have one... We had to leave the hotel since they had no other rooms for us. Of course we did not receive a refund. This used to be my "go to" hotel in Melbourne, but never again."
