"We recently stayed at the lovely Blue Haven where we had a HUGE and charming room. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic…great soaking tub and toiletries. The staff could not have been nicer. The location could not have been better. Be sure not to miss the wonderful Bulman Pub in the next village on top of the hill."

"Beautiful house in stunning location. Check in was easy and kitchen has good cooking facilities with dishwasher. There is a washing machine but no dryer so if it rains you’ll struggle to dry washed clothes. No goal post as seen in pictures but a great climbing frame for kids. Overall very enjoyable stay. "

"We greatly enjoyed our stay here and we'd love to stay here again. The house is nice and clean with a good garden. The location is excellent, in a picturesque village and close to many nice sites for a day trip. "

"Our suite was perfect! We stayed for 2 weeks, and felt like we were right at home! The whole staff was incredible! They were very accommodating, and extremely courteous. Perfect place to stay while enjoying Macroom, placed in the center of town. We walked everywhere! I would say that when we left, it felt like we were saying goodbye to family. We will definitely be back!"
"A surprising bit of luxury in a small guest house. We stayed at the Glen Quarter for one night at the start of a coastal tour, but now I kind of wish we'd booked two nights instead. Our stay fell on a Tuesday night in the off season, so I feel like we barely sampled the charms of Kinsale and now I want to come back for a longer stand (this happens A LOT in Ireland... Charming smaller towns feel so welcoming and familiar, but are eclipsed by the glamorous bigger cities).
But back to the Glen Quarter... Where we found a patient host awaiting our arrival to get us settled in modest-sized but wonderfully appointed room on the first floor. Everything you touch, from the furnishings to the soft mattress to the thick oversized towels, has a luxurious feel, and the new, modern bathroom is gold-standard in design. It's a lovely room and we had a great night of sleep. I'm just sorry we're moving on today."
