"Overall the building was quite tired but the cleanliness of the areas and the rooms is can’t fault. Cleaners were great. Negative was my room looked onto train tracks and police car compound so couldn’t leave window open at night as too loud. Good position centrally in town although better to turn right out of hotel than left in evenings as local road to left wasn’t safest. "

"Property very safe with key fob access at every door & gate. Reception staff were helpful. I had one of the double rooms for 2 nights. I enjoyed my stay. 20 min walk to central Dublin and it's a nice easy flat walk. The surrounding area seemed safe and quiet. There were some unusual bumps at night! But I used earplugs, just seemed to be a lot of activity in the apartment block also, the bed was a bit lumpy but nothing I couldn't sleep on and through. "We stayed for a few nights and found it was lovely and big campus. We weren't told where to have breakfast and we got lost trying to find it, then we didn't get told what we could eat in terms of our coupons and we didn't get to eat the following two days after paying for it. The room was standard but good enough for staying in for sleeping, the sink was leaking, the tap was cracked and we got soaked in the rain and the radiator didn't even turn on. Was not happy but least we got them dry the...

"The room was very small. Every thing else was fine."

"The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The radiator in one room was on full despite it being a hot day. There are a few complexities finding the right apartments in each block and using the door locks. The room by the road was quite loud with traffic, even with the windows closed. The rooms near the back were quieter. The ensuite was clean and modern. I was very impressed with how calm and friendly the reception staff were. "

"The proximity of the property to downtown Dublin is unbeatable. Being located between the Guinness Storehouse and the Temple Bar made walking a breeze. The parking was extremely secure and I felt comfortable leaving my rental car. My only issue was exiting the locked car park early in the morning. I was given a number to call if I left before 10am to open the gate. They were helpful, but it still took ~20 minutes before I could get out of the car park. "

"The Old Mill Hostel is housed in a historic building dating back to around 1780, it brings a lot of charm to the place while everything has been well renovated. The staff is very welcoming. Thomas paid attention to details and made sure every guest feels at home. Bedrooms and linen are comfy which makes guests sleeping well and being nice. "very clean & affordable with a big kitchen and lots of dining space if you prefer to do your own cooking, the hot water kettle is always ready, tea & coffee provided dorm style units are comfortable with a big desk space laundry service available, not a far distance to walk to city center & train station"
