Lodges in Ireland

"The lodge we got was good (clean and comfortable bedding), but unfortunately not perfect for a familly (the "corridor" bathroom was not practical, with the shower between the door and the toilet). It was OK for 2 nights like us, but not really for a longer stay. Also the equipement for cooking was not adapted for a familly (size and numbers of pots and pans)"

"Our stay at Gate Lodge was fabulous. The lodge itself is cozy and comfortable. It exudes an understated luxury. The grounds are equally beautiful and enjoyable, including the two adorable, very friendly alpacas. Wish we had stayed longer."

"We loved our time at the Hidden Lodge. It was a perfect place for us to tuck in for a couple days of a slow-down in the middle of our two week trip around Ireland. The quiet town of Ardara had anything we needed and even some sweet little shops to explore. (Definitely stop and visit with Eddie at his tweed shop and get a demonstration of his loom!) We are more scenery and wilderness seekers than city shoppers, though, and the area did not disappoint! Day trips to see waterfalls, mountains, and...
