"Nice, modern room with all the amenities and close to the city centre."

"Great location, very easy to get into town with a quick walk and then bus. The staff were really friendly and helpful, couldn’t do more. The only down side was the toilet in the room smelt, the smell you get in public toilets. The floors weren’t cleaned during our stay so maybe a few years of this has led to it. "

"The staff were excellent, the breakfast food was also really good. But I felt the property was a showing signs of lack of care. It was just small things, for example: the tables in the dining area were marble topped, most of which were visibly chipped. One of the blinds in the bedroom was frayed at the edges. The bathroom door was a sliding glass door which got stuck every time if you fully closed it. Once you spot one, the other little flaws become more obvious. In addition, our bedroom was located directly opposite the cleaning/linen room, the door to which was open for the duration of our stay. The room itself was clean and comfortable. Although it was facing the front of the building, which is on a main road. It would benefit from sound proofing. That said, the view across the park was really nice. The location is about 10-15 minutes walk to the city centre, and you can benefit from walking through the park part of the way. Overall, it was a nice stay. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and swift. I wouldn't class this as an exceptional stay though."

"Ibis Cambridge iw so convenient to the train. Right next door. The staff met us kindly and took our bags until checkin so we could go explore. Our room was clean and quiet and quiet comfortable."

"So much character, a really charming hotel. Staff are so attentive and reception were so welcoming and helpful. Room is big and everything you need! Location was also perfect. Breakfast buffet was delicious, really fresh produce and variety. Cocktail were also great, just maybe a little slow. Bed was sooo comfy as well! Overall, a really really wonderful stay. Would 1000% recommend, and will be back !! "

"Booked the comfort triple room with private bathroom, on arrival we were shown to a twin room and a single room, without private bathroom. When we quieried this the barman said they don’t have triple rooms with private bathrooms so I showed him the booking I made along with this room still being advertised. He went away and returned stating he could not do anything as the manager wasn’t available, therefore, we had no option but to stay in rooms we had not booked. Shared kitchen was dismal, one mug for the whole 9 rooms, shared bathroom was unclean with poor shower, other shared bathroom was also unclean with a shower that did not work. Pub itself was ok, barman was as helpful as he could be but we would not return and would not recommend"
