"We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Riu Palace Maspalomas. The location is fantastic—just minutes from the beautiful Maspalomas Dunes. From our room we had a gorgeous view overlooking the pool, the green palm trees, the sweeping sand dunes and the sea in the distance. The room itself was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. All the staff were lovely and polite, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The RIU Party on Friday was definitely the highlight—so much fun and absolutely not to...

"Good balcony overlooking pool and part ocean view. Very relaxed elegant resort hotel and top notch buffet breakfast. Only suggestion is that smoking in rooms and balconies or pool areas should be banned. Our room filled with tobacco smoke and loud talker at 3 am from insomniac next to us. "

"Perfect! We had a classic apartment and holidayed with 4 adults and a 1 year old. The space was perfect! So handy that there is a SPAR on site. We did a Lidl shop before, but we really didn't need to. The SPAR was super cheap. We hired a car, which I'd recommend from the airport. The roads are super easy. Having the access to the beach club made all the difference. I think that's what made it good value for money, if that access wasn't there, I don't think it would have been worth the amount...

"5 stars is a bit generous... Basic amenities not provided or replenished... But location is convenient if staying in Las Palmas and nice beach view if you pick that room type. Dinner buffet does not include drinks and is not 'exceptional' but does have decent variety and does rotate a limited subset of stations so may cover basic needs of most people. Room was 'surface clean' but definitely not spotless..."
