"We enjoyed our stay. I mentioned that we were celebrating a special birthday and they unexpectedly delivered a small birthday cake with plates and utensils. The only complaint is that we left the room without eating the cake (saving it for later) and returned to our room to find that when the staff came in for “ turndown” service they took away the plates and utensils and threw away some things we were planning to use to celebrate. We appreciate a tidy room, but maybe overstepped in this case."
