"The property is timber framed and old, really old. Cleanliness and condition is very good but this building needs constant maintenance. We loved it, it’s very old and full of history. Very cute little town, very nice surroundings. We hit it in the middle of a heat wave and there is no AC, in fact there’s likely no AC in most of the village but the normal temperature does not require it. We were just unlucky. "The property and surrounding area are quaint, lovely setting and very helpful staff. However, the room we stayed in was very tired, full of cobwebs and in need of a good clean and redecoration.
With the heatwave going on, it would have been good to have a fridge in the room for cool drinks. There were fans but they just move the hot air about.

"We stayed in a Burst of Blue Lodge with a hot tub. We had a lovely relaxed stay. The staff were brilliant. Clean enough. No instructions for the oven, microwave or dishwasher. No welcome pack left as per cleaners check list. However, we would return & would recommend the lovely site and surroundings."
