"This was not our first visit to the Grosvenor hotel in chester, as it is closing on 30th september for a couple of years to renovate.so we booked two lovely rooms in april to stay 1 night at the end of september, on arrival we soon found out our stay was not as we hoped it may be, there was an heritage package that we were not made known to on arrival. therefore there was only 1 menu we could choose from, asked a bottle of wine was told that could not order a bottle but could order by the glass...
