"Nice hotel in a great location. Not too far away to walk into the city, and bus stops nearby as well if you dont feel like walking. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was nice enough, only gripe was the air con wasnt great, so room was quite warm at times."

"Comfortable bed, clean room, close to train station. Stayed 3 nights. The first night we were given room 206 which was right above busy London Street. It was very noisy. When we first arrived a maintenance man showed up to check the shower saying there were complaints about a loud noise. He did not find anything. In the morning when we turned the shower on, the pressure was high and it made a horrendous noise. No amount of adjustment would fix it. Had to shower with the noise. It was clear to me...
"The room was okay, but unfortunately there were stains on the walls and the toilet was hanging off the wall. There were only three pillows for two people, and the robes included with the Executive King Room were ripped and clearly well-used. The bed was comfortable enough, though. The staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful, which was definitely a positive."

"Fantastic hotel! Easy walk from the train station, and to other things that you would need to get to like eating and the university. Lovely lobby, they had a workout room which I didn't use but that's a nice extra, and the room itself is very nice. I would definitely stay again"
"Had a slow drain on the shower, due to the way the shower isn’t a tray this meant water flooded the rest of the bathroom. Reported to be reception and this wasn’t fixed. Had to use a towel wedged against the shower door and then turn the water down.
Asked for more milk sachets (two for a family room with 4 isn’t enough) at reception and got directed to the bar, had a huge wait whilst they faffed around serving just one person - god help anyone if ordering a round then!

"The staff were very good. The property was good though the layout of our room was odd and the mirror screwed to the wall was on the tilt. The tv had a little quirk - it switched itself on in the night!

"Stayed in a superior suite. The building is looking tired and in need of a refresh. The bathroom flooring was coming up, carpets torn. The breakfast was unimpressive but the service was good. The sound from outside made for an awful nights sleep."
