"Excellent attention to detail. The Landlord and his team were extremely friendly, helpful and nothing was too much bother. Free parking was an added bonus."

"great"

"The owner was very friendly and the property was an interesting old building. However, our room was a bit out-dated and the shower unit was a bit mouldy. Also, breakfast was a bit disappointing with powdered scambled eggs and tinned tomatoes."

"Room was well furnished and had everything we needed including a bottle opener, wine glass, even a hot water bottle! Bed was comfy and there was a really useful folder of info in the room, the owner had included a few suggested walks around the property which was great and we did one of them just to stretch our legs. Ample parking, and the property was very well kept, no issues with noise or anything from the farm we were attached to. Loved the fact the owner offered proper milk for the rooms...

"Comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Well located."

"Lovely hosts, really excellent breakfasts, good facilities, clean and comfortable room. A real 10/10 sort of place."

"This is our 4th visit. Great hotel to access Exmoor and surrounding towns. Relaxing location with some life around it. You could arrive for 2 nights and also not go anywhere."

"We were welcomed by Charles and looked after very well both by Charles and Alison. Alison’s breakfasts were amazing. Gorgeous location and lovely homely touches "

"The accommodations were so lovely, comfortable and welcoming. Caroline is a delightful person and hostess and their food was outstanding We could not have had a better experience than we did in this overall wonderful setting"

"Lovely stay, rooms located separate from the pub to keep noise down. Staff were brilliant and very reasonably priced."
