"Nice friendly reception staff, lovely clean room with a safe, iron and iron board, refreshments available. Pool, jacuzzi and sauna very well kept, lovely bar service nice and friendly and food was lovely. Comfy bed and soft pillows. We had a lovely full English breakfast in the morning where you could help yourself to whatever you wanted, we would definitely stay here again, nice and relaxing overnight stay."
"Didn’t feel very clean, shower was leaking, floor was dirty and room was so close to the gym where you could hear every repetition. Staff were nice and dinner are was lovely, though"
"Room was clean and staff friendly but the rooms need a major refurb. Aged furnishing, old mismatched furniture, sink in the room, noisy corridor doors banging. Not worth the price paid (£84 for a single, no breakfast)."
"We had a great stay at the priory, room was a perfect size, I enjoyed a soak in the beautiful claw foot bath.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying there again"
"The Three Cocks Hotel was an interesting facility. We arrived at about 6:50 pm, 10 minutes before end of check-in, but there was a note on the counter with the room key for self checkin. Odd process with nobody at the desk, the key to the room left out and no form of security at the front door.
The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet, which we appreciated. A very rustic hotel, with very uneven floors, sagged support beams, rickety wooden front door and door upstairs.
Breakfast was ok, but...
"My overall assessment on the stay would rate it no more than a three star. There are some minor maintenance issues that need to be looked into. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was very good and the full English was excellent. The idea of filling out what you wanted for breakfast the previous day was not really how I would like it as this might change, I would prefer to decide on the day. Conclusion: The accommodation was a little tired and in need of a spruce up."
"Clean, well presented, friendly helpful staff and a decent breakfast! Couldn't ask for any more, was a great place to stay. We only stayed one night but would be happy to return and stay longer!
Highly recommended"
"All the staff went over an above to make our stay really relaxing and enjoyable. Nothing was to much trouble. Good ol fashioned service, for us it has set the benchmark that others will be judged by."
"Excellent B&B with great owners with excellent local knowledge and tips for days out.
The room was large with comfortable bed and good sized en-suite.
Excellent breakfast made to order with a good choice.
Parking available and easy access to local restaurants pubs and shops.
Short walk to the theatre and canal basin.
Would highly recommend."
