"We had a wonderful stay at Emotions by Hodelpa Puerto Plata. The resort is beautiful, the rooms were clean, and the whole atmosphere felt very welcoming. We especially enjoyed the Italian and Mexican restaurants — both were delicious and had great service. One of the highlights for our family was how kid-friendly the resort is. Our children loved playing football and tennis, spending time at the kids club, and enjoying the beautiful beach. It made the whole trip so easy and relaxing for us. A very special thank you to Rosa from Guest Services. She helped us so much with everything we needed and truly went above and beyond. If you ever need anything, just talk to Guest Services — they were extremely friendly, much more than in many other hotels we’ve experienced. Rosa made our stay even more enjoyable, and we are very grateful for her kindness. Highly recommend this hotel for families and anyone who wants a peaceful, friendly, and enjoyable vacation. "

"Beautiful resort on a very beautiful part of the beach where the waves were not dangerous. Not a huge resort which is great. We hate those with golf carts. Very professional wait staff. Cleaning staff can be more friendly. Room had no tissue or privacy sign for the door. Room was extremely humid and the bed and sheets felt wet. Toilet had a water leak in the back. Room needs renovation. Old. Broken drawer and fridge door. Closet old and very cheap hangers and only a few of them. Freezer full of frost and ice build up. Great location though. Music boring. Where is the the Dominican music? We had to ask for it. In Italy you would hear Italian music. In DR, these people should here DR music. Vendors on the beach annoying and insistent, especially if they know we speak Spanish. Hotel should not allow that. The buffets were excellent. Great variety and seasonings! "

"This resort was very nice , the rooms are very spacious the A/C is the best . The food was great . Staff members were very friendly. We want to personally thank Maria and Estefani they were always very attentive and made our stay and my Dads birthday a special one . Ernesto from the tours was great we had a wonderful experience at paradise island it’s a must do. Specially on a Saturday when it was very busy . Hendry was very friendly and welcoming . Some evenings we had dinner outside in front of the pool and that was very nice and beautiful . The vibe was very romantic and nice. The beach is very close and a beautiful walk , The place is super nice and clean . Compared to other resorts we been this one is small and everything is close by. Gym staff Adonis were also great and very motivating . We had a wonderful time. And we will definetly be back . "
