"Do NOT waste your money here! We booked here last minute when our Cuba trip was cancelled and it is not a 3.5-4 star as advertised. Half of our room amenities were missing and our phone did not work all week (despite asking 5 times to get someone to fix it and they said it would be fixed that day). They would take our dirty towels and not replace with clean ones or replace water, so everyday we had to walk to the lobby (up like 6 flights of stairs) to ask for them to be replaced. The bathroom ceiling constantly dripped on us and we always came back to a puddle in our bathroom. Warm water 1/2 the week, cold the other. The public bathrooms in and around the lobby were always flooded and disgusting because they didn’t flush. We’d have to walk back to our room if we needed to use the bathroom. We thought it might just have been our experience, but sure enough after talking to people, it was everyone’s experience. One lady didn’t have AC all week and asked everyday to be moved to another room without any luck. I could go on and on about this place. They did not seem to care about anyone’s concerns or want them coming back to this resort apparently. I feel like I need a vacation after a week spent there. You had to walk to the sister resorts for any good entertainment, beach and most à la carts. "

"The appartement and the shared outdoor kitchen was brandnew and spotless clean and everything we needed was in walking distance. We recommend to bring ear plugs because it can be noisy during night, which is normal when you stay in town center. But the best was our super host Naémi! She helped us out with lots of informations and was extremely responsive when we asked for something before and during our stay. We can totally recommend the place if you want to explore Puerto Plata and stay in a safe place. "

There are many positive features, such as the staff is very attentive, and the housekeeping manages to keep the rooms and even common areas very clean. But if relaxation and resting is your priority, this may not be the best choice, or if you’ve already made a reservation, suggest that your room is opposite side of the construction and renovation area. "

"Conveniently located, easily accessible and private, walking distance from beach front. Very clean and cozy and comfortable apartment. Wanted to extend my stay but unfortunately I couldn't on the app. Would definately recommend this location. "

"It was convenient the price was very reasonable. And it was very clean inside I loved they had AC and the bathroom was clean plus I was able to cook too and plus they supplied plates silverware and and cooking pots and pans overall I loved it and I would comeback to this hotel."
