"We were in room for absolutely amazing view. The staff were second and none so attentive and nothing was too much trouble even getting a slice of cake in your room. Each day was a lovely touch. They also recommended places to visit. Which was very helpful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious all fresh produce cooked to perfection parking was Perfect right outside the property. It was just a Short driving to Saint Ives could not fault this guesthouse at all will def be coming again"

"Overall our room is excellent with the harbor view from the room window. A minor point, the water vessel in the Nespresso Coffee machine was leaking. It will be nice for the staff to check before guests arrival, we didn't use it in the end but reported it. It is a shame but I can always get a good coffee from the cafe near by."

The location is perfect for St Ives with train station only a few minutes away and easy routes to beautiful places such as St Michael’s Mount and Minack Theatre. What made our stay extra special was Margaret and Martin who really looked after us. Margaret’s breakfast was delicious and Martin’s humour gives us a good kickstart to the day. Borthalan House was really cosy and the room we stayed in had lovely sea views. We will miss our daily...
