I could not find temperature controls, nor instructions, nor a fan and there was no window to open. Just the doors to the patio - lovely but quite vunerable on the first floor

"The room we had was clean but very small and we had to climb up 2 flights of stairs because the room was right up the top off the inn staff were very friendly and helpful the breakfast that we had was excellent and the roast dinner was superb cleaning staff were excellent and very friendly the bar area was oldie, worlde but needs some attention the ship inn is in a very good place for all amenities"
"I will just say that I found blood stains on my bed linen and duvet cover.
Also the room smells unbelievably terrible, even worse than the bathroom, to the point that I have to leave the window open throughout the night. Fortunately it was still September and I only have to stay one night at this hotel.
Other than that, the table is sticky and lots of stains on the window. No hotel staff on site, instead "a friend" checked me in by showing me the passcodes of the doors and asked me to take...
"Where to start? Adri and The New England were amazing! Such a welcoming and gracious host - always remembering our names and so helpful. Breakfasts were amazing and we felt so at home. Adri even volunteered to do some laundry for us!! It was the best stay of our 3 week Ireland dnd UK vacation."

"The staff were all wonderful and helpful . It was 36c+ . The building is an old historic property with newly refurbished bedrooms . A fan was in the room to help with the heat . Small but comfortable with a lovely bathroom. My room faced the front and with the heat I needed my window open . The property is by the traffic lights so if you are traffic averse , ask for a rear room . Breakfast is continental but you can pay extra for a cooked breakfast, but not on Sundays . Room for 3 cars to park...
