Having been to a wedding reception that day, we didn’t want much to eat, but found just what we wanted, even though the menu is not extensive. "The Boathouse (or to people like me who haven’t been in Norfolk for 15 odd years - the former Eels Foot) is a fantastic location for short or longer stays, with the broads, Great Yarmouth, Norwich and north Norfolk all easily reachable from here. The pub / restaurant is beautiful, and serves excellent food. Breakfast is a-la-carte and is excellent for the price. Mike, the proprietor, is a great host and was extremely helpful in helping us to plan the remaining days of our trip. Highly recommend!"

"When we walked into the room, we were shocked to see how small and dated it was. Believe me it was hard for two people to walk around, also the bathroom sink was in the bedroom which was so tiny and every time you washed your hands the water just went down on the floor. This guest house is no way 4star, it’s a deliberate miss representation. Please think before you book."
