"**Charming historic gem in the heart of Venice**
Staying at Hotel Duodo felt like stepping into old Venice. The building is historic and full of character, and the interiors are beautifully decorated with real attention to detail. Every corner feels elegant and warm, exactly what you hope for in a Venetian hotel.
The staff were wonderful. They were kind, helpful, and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and they made our stay feel easy and personal.
The location is the hotel's biggest...
"We were pleasantly surprised with a lovely upgrade to our room! The hotel rooms are wonderful. Very comfortable and quiet.
The lagoon is right outside the front door and is stunning at all times of the day.
It is a bit of a walk to the main square but easily doable."
"Location was the best feature of this hotel. One staff member was fantastic but a few were largely unresponsive - asking questions were met with one word answers and like pulling teeth. Also, note that partial canal view means you’re on the ground floor - the room description does not say this. So be prepared for less privacy or keep your drapes shut which ultimately negates the value of that view itself"
"Our experience at this hotel was dissapointing to say the least.
First of all the air conditioning air flow was practically none and the hotel staff, unable to resolve the issue, offered us a fan and to wait till the next day to switch us to another room. Secondly the internet wifi connection was very very poor most of the time. In addition, the water in the bathroom sink was draining very slow till maintenance staff got it fixed the next day.
Considering this hotel is listed as a 4 star hotel,...
"I would definitely recommend Hotel Casanova. The service was excellent, the customer service was great, and everything was very clean. I was very happy with my stay and had a wonderful experience."
"The staff were very polite and helpful, rooms were clean. We only ate breakfast so no opinion about lunch or dinner. The location of the hotel was awesome. The boat took us to within feet of the hotel from the train station. The surrounding area was quiet."
