"The location was so calm and peaceful. Lovely short walk to the local beach with sunbeds etc. Lovely Greek taverna near the beach as well. Pool amazing 70 m long. Breakfast was delicious. Staff very helpful. Room clean but could have been better cleaned daily - didn’t complain though. Gym adequate but only 1 treadmill that was in demand."
"Immaculate property. Lovely grounds. Pool area is really nice. Plenty of sun beds, lovely view. Nice and peaceful. Only thing is the sun beds do make a noise and some guests insist on dragging them around rather than wheeling them by simply lifting the bed from the bottom but that’s not really the hotels fault. We love staying here as a base in Kefalonia. Friendly staff have always given us the room we request. Breakfast is fine but could be better, not loads of variety and it’s repetitive....
"The site is picture perfect. It’s built into a cliff above the sea, and the rooms face the morning sun, rising above the water. The property is terraced: every room has a view.
This is not a hotel I would recommend to anyone with mobility issues. I asked for a room which was more accessible, due to health issues. Our room was on the “ground floor”/top of our terraced building. 4 flights of stairs down to the pool- the sea is farther down a long incline. 3 flights of stairs up for meals. The...

"We were not able to stay at the Canale because they had not yet opened. We were transferred to a different hotel which was much less expensive. To date I have not been refunded the extra amount that I paid to stay at the Canale."
