"I stayed in the resort July 14th to July 17th, 2026. Before leaving for the trip heavy wildfire smoke set in across the area. Very heavy. Of course I can’t blame the resort for that. The issue is that I called and tried to rebook my reservation for late August. There was zero compromise, zero willingness to work with me and they even went as far as to tell me that there was no smoke there and no warnings about it, when in fact there were both. "Great location in Bayfield. Comfortable bed. House keeping staff were friendly and helpful. Front reception day staff not very friendly or approachable. Bathroom floor cracked- needs to be replaced. Room was 60 degrees when we arrived. Could not adjust temperature. Fireplace would not heat room. It was like staying in a refrigerator."
