"Not the best experience. The hotel positioned me and my toddler next to a loud DJ until midnight followed by all the punters then coming out to the rooms next door and keeping us up until the small hours. I was told a refund would be given but then this offer has since been rescinded with hindsight. I would not recommend staying here."
"A great stay here for a wedding near by, the breakfast was lovely and the spa was a real treat the next day - even after we checked out! Staff were great and room was really comfy and spacious."
"Room was lovely very spacious and cleaned daily with amenities stocked up. Water temperature and pressure was lovely. Hotel location was ideal with 24 hour reception staff. Hotel was secure and had no problems with noise at all.
Only downside was breakfast - continental breakfast was not up to par and not enough options for those who cannot eat full English e.g. bacon, sausages, eggs"
"This true Kentish pub is fabulous, the accommodation is comfortable and clean, the staff are welcoming friendly and helpful. The menu is varied and food is great. A pleasure to visit this historic pub."
"Lovely characterful property. Friendly staff and very polite, Room was good, huge bathroom and very clean, robes and towels supplied. We did use the pool which was lovely. There is nothing lift so be careful if a bit unsteady on your legs as lots of steps and stairs around."
"Chambre propre et literie confortable . Nous n’avons pas été impactées par la panne de gaz que l’établissement avait, avons eu de l’eau chaude pour la douche . Cadre aux alentours agréable. Établissement à conseiller"
"Would be 5 stars all round if it wasn’t for the fireplace centrepiece under the TV not working, half of it wouldn’t switch on so one side was lit while the other stayed off and I paid a lot of money on 2 nights in the signature suite for a very special birthday relying on everything to be as advertised. With the room being the main experience this was very disappointing and even after raising this to staff it wasn’t able to be fixed. I’m all about details especially for big celebrations and this...
"A lovely place to stay , all the staff were fantastic from the moment we arrived .
Location wise really good close to the local pubs and restaurants.
Located not far from Leigh train station so handy if you want to go on the train , we had parking at the hotel .
Would recommend staying"
