"The staff were brilliant and extra helpful. My room had a solid full length concrete (possibly load -bearing) pillar right in the middle of the room between the bed and the table. Very very strange. The bed was less than comfortable as if coils were sticking into my back. If my stay had been longer than one night; I would have changed the room. Although the staff made it a pleasant stay, I won't go back."

It was a very long walk from reception and quite difficult to reach. Fortunately, I wasn’t travelling with a suitcase; otherwise, getting to the room would have been much more difficult. "This hotel is a great location from Gatwick North terminal. It is only a 10 minute walk on a smooth path with just 2 flights of stairs when you enter/exit through the Hampton Inn. It is much more reasonably priced than the hotels inside the terminal. Ideal for morning flights. There is a small selection of tea, coffee and milk in the room but right next door is a gas station with a large selection of drinks, milk, baked goods, snacks and a Prêt à Manger."
