"My husband and I were really disappointed with our 2 night stay in Ottawa Embassy Hotel. The check in and out was fast and well managed. The room looked clean and vast. The first problem started when we found out that there is no AC in the room! The AC controller on the wall was not even real. We asked the customer service and they explained that the AC is unfortunately central and because we are between 2 seasons the AC is still not running! So we had to keep our room window open at all time...

"Hotel lobby was nice, fairly clean overall. But the pool was closed and we booked this Hotel for that reason (kids). The room temperature was over 26°C, no way to adjust, and no fans available. After 2 hot showers the smoke detector alarmed which led to management coming in, and catching my daughter and I half naked while getting dressed. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the hot steam made the room even warmer which made getting ready for a dance competition quite challenging....

"Everyone involved with the hotel operation were so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend if you’re in the downtown Ottawa area, make it a point to stay here."
