"Older hotel. Rooms were dated but clean. Best part was hot breakfast. Day one eggs, pancake sticks, sausage, fruits cereal, toast etc. second day same but added biscuit and gravy. The free breakfast is worth at least $6-8 per person. So think about that when booking. Staff super nice."

"Really nice for the price definitely would consider if traveling in the area"

"clean, staff was friendly. bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay there again."

"Appreciated the clean room and breakfast. We didn't use the kitchen but it was nice to have just in case."

"I grew up in Lorain for 60 years before moving to North Carolina8 yrs ago. So my daughter was getting married across the river so I thought I'd be really nice to get her room here for two nights. She's living in Lakewood now so I thought I'd get her a room facing the river since she did not grow up in Lorain or at least Lake Erie! No they gave her a room looking at a brick wall!!!! Then I said it was my daughter's wedding night and she had just gotten married you think they could get a bottle of...

"Room was dirty and aged. Greasy hand prints on the window, door surfaces, and light switches. Mold growing inside the hvac blower vent. Shower had mold growing in the corners and old hair stuck to the ceiling. Hallways smelled like cigarettes. Beds and pillows felt like we were sleeping on a bag of potatoes. If I wasn’t worried about how dirty the carpet was I probably would have thrown down a blanket. Will never stay here again."

"Liked: Geothermal heating and cooling! Windows that open and an indicator of when it would be desirable to open them. Central location for Oberlin College and town. Esthetically pleasing architecture and decor. Disliked: A worker using a leaf blower for a long time, to clear about 10 leaves from the entire expanse of sidewalk on three sides of the hotel. Unnecessary!"

"Clean and good parking. Quiet room, comfortable bed."

"As a family with high pet allergies, appreciate very much no pet policies. Most hotels aren’t that considerate anymore."

"Room needed a bit better cleaning. Corners in bathroom dirty. Needed a vacuum as we stepped on some small sharp plastic pieces on the carpet."

"The hotel is amazing. We travel with a cat. They treat you and your pet so friendly and thoughtful. The only complaint is they have a long counter in the bathroom area, but there is no outlets to plug in flat irons, hair dryer etc. Only outlet is the coffee pot or refrigerator plug. Not very convenient. Great stay, wonderful bartender!"

"My only complaint was, upon arriving and checking in, we were told that the pool was heated. We came early with our granddaughters and were excited to take them swimming. The pool was the coldest pool that I’ve ever felt. We told the staff about it, we stayed two nights and the temperature never got warmer. We could not let those 5 month old, 3 and 5 year olds swim in this ice bath."

"Very dated."

"Rooms are pretty amazing once they get you in the right one, i got sent to 3 different rooms, remodeling happing but i didnt mind,it was quiet and peaceful, room was clean. "
