"Loved this property! The spa amenities were top notch and the location was perfect. Walkable to everything but outside of the main downtown strip so it was very quiet. We got locked out of our room, however the staff was very helpful in getting us back in and making sure that we were all set. We also dined at one of the restaurants at the resort and it was very good. Would recommend to anyone!"
"Good location 15 mins from the train station - in the middle of restaurants, shops, the beautiful church, and especially lifts to Gornergrat and Glacier Paradise are an easy walk.
Room was large with a balcony facing the cemetery, which is more like a beautiful garden. Only negative was lack of a bench or chair for extra seating on a wall that was quite dirty from other guests' gear? (probably hiking gear, poles up against it). Bathroom and rest of the room and bed was great."
"The room was large and comfortable. The only downside was the next door guest smoked on the balcony so we had to close our window and miss the fresh air. That’s okay; it is close to train so noisy but very quiet with windows closed. Comfortabl bed. The location was steps from train! So convenient. The breakfast was the highlight!!! Full, fresh, homemade breakfast: eggs, bacon, veg, yogurt, overnight oats, juices, breads, jams, etc. very good."
"We stayed in a quadruple room with Mountain Views (not Matterhorn). Which was perfect because as soon as you walk outside there is the Matterhorn! The hotel is right next to the bridge with the perfect Matterhorn view. Make sure to get up at sunrise to catch the glow! Breakfast had a large selection which was included. It was close to the Matterhorn museum and shopping. Also a short walk to the Matterhorn Express cable car. We took a taxi to and from the train station. Otherwise we walked...
"Amazing spot! Wonderful room, friendly staff, really great property, great breakfast, and stellar views of the Matterhorn from our balcony. A fair hike uphill from downtown but the taxi service is easy to utilize and is free to and from the train station when arriving and leaving. But the location is definitely worth it for the views. Recommended!"
