"Stayed for 2 nights,rooms were spotless,good service on that whole. The only downside was that when someone was ordering food at the bar,the queue for drinks started to build up .unfortunately there was not enough staff behind the bar"

"Great location for our visit and parking was a bonus. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast wasn’t included. The pub has maintained its character and the accommodation is clean and well maintained. Bottles of water were replenished daily and the individual packaged imperial mints a nice touch. A few minor niggles - only bath sheets provided, no hand towels which is strange. My partner placed his luggage bag by the skirting board underneath the window and a t shirt he placed on top, fell off and was literally covered in dust when he picked it up. We ate in the bar/restaurant on the 2nd night, the food was delicious and the wine excellent. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area."
