"My room was disappointing compared with my first visit. I’m sorry to say that there was a bit of a smell in the room that suggested stale urine.
Otherwise everything was good."
"Beautiful location, friendly staff and nice restaurant with variety of food options.
But rooms are outdated. We stayed at newer building where the Smokehouse is, so can't say anything about main building and how well it maintained."
"First time in Ireland. This was our first experience during our stay and couldn’t be more impressed. Wish we stayed the entire trip.
Hospitality was next level, truly. Rooms were updated, fresh pastries delivered to your door each morning, stocked fridge with meat, cheese, grapes, sparkling apple juice, fresh milk, water… just incredible. My wife had the best espresso martini she’s ever had in the (I think new?) pub/restaurant attached.
And, the town… AMAZING. Picturesque. It felt like a...
"This was our favorite stay in our travels across Ireland. It is a great location especially if you plan on hiking in Wicklow/Glendalough. It was a quiet, well maintained property. Now, there are employees on site during certain times of day so one call out is to pay close attention to your emails as you will get information to access to lodge remotely. The family room with en-suite bathroom was perfect for our family and the room was sizable which is such a welcome surprise when in Europe. ...
"Second time to say here within a few weeks. One of our favourite places to stay. Very friendly staff, good food, comfortable room, and lovely location in the Vale of Avoca. All good."
"Liebevoll eingerichtet mit kleinen Annehmlichkeiten wie zB einer XBox auf dem Zimmer oder einer (für alle Besucher gleichermaßen nutzbare) Küchenzeile mit Kochplatte und Mikrowelle wie einer Ecke mit Büchern und Gesellschaftsspielen. Tolle Lage direkt in der Natur und Abseits von städtischen Trubel. Dazu liebevoll zubereitets und üppiges Frühstück. Wir waren wirklich gerne hier."
"Communication was very frustrating as despite messaging via Hotels.com (once it had been booked - 3 months before our stay)and then later by a bit of detective work emailing directly. This was just to get details i.e. postcode, info re local places to eat etc, the first communication was at 5.45pm on the day of check in i.e. after the check in time of 2pm. Only then did we have the postcode for the Satnav. Overall it was very cosy and well appointed and presented BUT the toilet, although I...
"The host Noreen, greeted us at the front door and showed us to our room on the first floor. The interior was beautiful and decorated very nicely. Everything was spotlessly clean. Our room was small but adequate. The breakfast provided the next morning was wonderful. We had a full Irish Breakfast. Cereal, yogurt, juice, home made bread & jams were available as well. The site had plenty of parking available for guests on site. I highly recommend the Perrymount B&B."
"Stayed for one night in the family room with my two children. The room was spacious, even with a double bed and two singles. The en suite was spotless. There were plenty of spare toilet rolls, as well as shower gel and handsoap. The room also had tea and coffee making facilities, a bottle of drinking water, and a lovely touch of a little selection of fudge sweets. There was a safe and hairdryer in the wardrobe.
The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. It was lovely and quiet throughout...
"The pre arrival info was perfect, with how to access the property.
The cottage is on the owner's grounds, but with it's own entrance and all own facilities.
The kitchen is fully equipped. The bedroom has a little balcony with an uninterrupted view of the countryside. Books and boardgames are available.
It's clean, cosy and perfect for exploring Wexford and Wicklow areas.
There are lots of places to walk in the countryside within easy driving distance. Gorey town is around 15 minutes away for...
