"Lovely clean large room. Great tv with a superb picture. Plenty of tea / coffee and biscuits welcome tray. We were surprised how quiet our sleep was, the pub below was busy but no sound from it. The decoration of the whole venue is incredible with so much to look at. There is a lot of car spaces but the area is very busy so it’s a bit of a search to find one."

"Had a really great stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall service was excellent. The location was also very convenient. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again."

"Nice cozy place with a wonderful view. Staff super helpful and accommodating too."

"The location, cleanliness and friendly and helpful staff."

"Characterful thatched inn in countryside location. Comfortable room & good breakfast."

"Very friendly and welcoming staff on arrival. Nice Reception area, but once you get beyond the reception the corridors and our room (203) were somewhat austere. Nice breakfast, but a wider selection of fresh fruit salad would be very welcome. The red berries were still frozen but the cooked breakfast was nice, plus a good choice of teas and coffee. "The Knoll House Hotel is a charming hotel which was once a personal residence. It has a lot of history and is in a delightful location overlooking the sea. There are several comfortable seating areas of various sizes and styles. The restaurant is very large and the food and service is very good. The breakfasts are particularly enjoyable with a plentiful range for self-service. The outdoor swimming pool was heated, despite it being October when we stayed there. There is also a small indoor pool...

"All staff welcoming and unobtrusive. As staying guests we also had a table for the pub food, which was excellent - good selection and different portion sizes. We had a 3-course evening meal and the cooked breakfast. Served quickly - hot and tasty. Coffee served with breakfast was really good."
