"Situated in a grand historic building facing the waterfront, with a multi-storey glass atrium and rustic bar that opened out into the gardens, this is clearly THE PLACE to stay in town. We enjoyed the dinner buffet upstairs at the Arven, particularly the fresh seafood selection, and a very generous breakfast spread the next morning. Our room was small and utilitarian, with a hiking trail a few yards behind the hotel building plainly visible from the widow, but noise was minimal in the evening,...

"The location is wonderful as the hotel sits by the fjord. Our room has two balconies with great views! The breakfast is exceptionally good with a lot of variety of food. Staff is very helpful. He allows us to trade two complimentary local beer to two bottle water."

"The hotel was spotless, the pool was a very nice space. I was fortunate to have it all to myself. It was 2 beautiful days in June, people were able to swim, lay in the lounge chairs outside and use the hottub. They provide a wonderful breakfast, a great location and so much to do in the area."
