"My room was not ready, so they upgraded me to a room with a nicer view, top floor. I was close to the sauna, which I used & enjoyed. All of the amenities in this property are fantastic. Beautiful rooms & awesome reception staff. Only stayed one night, but wished I had booked both nights here."

"This hotel was in the best location to explore Flam and the Naeroyfjord. We also went to see the Hopperstad Stave Church. The breakfast was a bit disappointing and the restaurant for dinner was just okay. We only had one dinner there. The staff was incredible, however, and we enjoyed the bar and watching the World Cup soccer matches. I would definitely recommend."

"Laerdal hotel is gem between Oslo and Bergen. The fjord views from my balcony were absolutely breathtaking. I enjoyed having a spacious room with a roomy bathroom. The location is very peaceful and everything we needed for our over night stay was in walking distance. The staff was were friendly and spoke English fluently. "Great location for Flåm Train and Cruise on the Nutshell route. Easy Hotel parking but limited spaces. We were lucky! Food trucks right outside with great affordable options but close early so check first for dinner hours…housekeeping and breakfast staff helpful and friendly. Viking dinner was good but staff seemed disorganized. Dinner was rushed even though we had “90” minutes. Appetizer salad served after entre was delivered. Food was not hot, just warm. "Clean and beautiful view"

"Basic hotel in a small village but immense value. The room was smallish but very well laid out and the fjord view was amazing! Breakfast was well stocked and tasty with a great view! This location truly was viewed as a necessary stop over before we came to Norway. After two weeks here I can say this was our best value by far and the village was quaint and easily walkable from this hotel. Would visit again in a heartbeat!"
