"What a unique and cool place to stay! And so convenient for the fjord tour and Flåm railway. We only stayed one night, I would have loved to stay a few nights to enjoy the many amenities Flåm has to offer that we’re all right at the hotel!"
"I was a bit hesitant about the Laerdal Hotel because the reviews weren’t great, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was perfectly fine, with a beautiful view of the lake, and it was incredibly quiet outside. The walls were thin, so you could sometimes hear the neighbours, but with earplugs it wasn’t an issue. Breakfast was alright, nothing special, but the buffet dinner was excellent, with a wide choice of fish, meats, and fresh salads. Definitely a positive stay."

Good: The room was spacious and had great views; the check-in staff was friendly.
Bad: The eggs, sausage, and beans were cold at breakfast, even though we were the first ones there right as it opened. Which was a shame, as it was all tasty; it was just off-putting to be cold when it was supposedly freshly made.
