Wonderful

The room was clean and the amenities were sufficient, but the bed was rather hard. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was free car charging overnight for our rented EV. Dinner was excellent, as was the breakfast. Parking was free and located directly in front of the hotel. Location was excellent. We drove through the longest tunnel in Norway to get to the Borgund Stave Church and back again. The following day, the choice we made to travel to Geiranger was through the National Glacier Park.
Nice hotel at a location about 40 minutes away from Flåm. Close enough to consider your stay when you visit Flam. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a restaurant onsite that serves very good quality meal at reasonable price.
Location is good! Bathroom was too small. No toiletries. Only Hand wash was available. Breakfast was good. They provided fresh ginger shots and smoothie. It was excellent. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. There was a grocery store right opposite to the hotel.
Super nice and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, decent room. Very nice to have a charger for our electric car rental. My only suggestion is to have something to make the bathtub shower combo less slippery.
The staff are unbelievable and attentive. By far the most welcoming staff we encountered in two weeks of travelling through Western Norway.
Breakfast has personal options and a great spread. We also had dinner at the restaurant and it was fabulous! Great value at the restaurant and hotel for the services provided.
The property is older and basic but exquisitely clean and the hospitality and food made it our favourite hotel of the entire trip!
We stayed two nights and wanted to stay longer!
You can walk to everything in town and a grocery store is right across the street.
Can’t say enough good things about our stay here!
We stayed in the old building, a ‘deluxe double’ room, which back up to the mountain, and had the mountain view. The room has simple furnishings, but was comfortable, modern and spacious. We were on the second floor - no elevator - so be prepared to carry luggage up a curved staircase, or check in advance what floor you are going to be on. The old hotel section is 2-story. Love the heated bathroom floor! Bathtub shower has a half screen, so water gets on the floor, but water pressure and temperature are very good! Room stays nice and warm and windows can be opened for fresh air. Plenty of natural light, and blackout curtains. Breakfast has everything, made-to-order scrambled eggs (delicious). Staff are super-friendly and kind, everything is clean and well managed. Front desk staff are great, friendly and make you feel very welcome. Plenty of parking onsite. Food mart 50m away - very convenient.
Staying in Lærdal is nice a quiet, quaint little town and great for walking around, enjoying the scenery and charming old houses that have been restored (mostly) and you can see there is pride in ownership. Makes you feel nostalgic for a simpler time.
But being in Lærdal is not without its complications, that a lot of activities are closer to Aurland and Flam so we were going back and forth through the 24km tunnel each day. The tunnel is one of the safer/wider tunnels, it’s just a long 20mins without scenery.
I am very happy we stayed at the Lindstrom hotel!
Hotel whilst basic provides good quality and clean accommodation. The hotels manager was helpful and informative, the staff are diligent provided additional amenities. Overall customer service was second to none and would definitely stay there again.
Nice hotel with clean rooms. Breakfast was delicious and the staff are very friendly.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Hotel is located in a little town. We stayed one night last month in September. It’s a very 70’s style hotel but I think they have an older hotel which looks lovely & wish I had booked there. Staff are friendly & it’s clean and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were good.
We loved our stay here. The staff were wonderful and made it feel like home away from home. The food was fabulous. This is a very small town but the location is amazing and the salmon museum is worth the time.
The staff, especially the breakfast staff, was exceptionally friendly. The room was clean and unique. The lobby was well renovated and maintained, but the hallways to the rooms could use more TLC. The breakfast was superb.
