"Worked for us"

"Elevator was a little scary of a ride with the squeaks and groans in the older part that only has two floors."

"Very nice breakfast, choice of pools was neat."

"I loved the stay. I needed to change the room because I need to have an open window. They immediately, I thought was an upgraded room. It even had a balcony. Would stay there again."

"Great area, amazing rooms, breakfast hours/checkout made mornings easier. Overall, great stay."

"Staff were great!! Place was great!!! But I think the restaurant needs to upgrade the food they serve was a very low grade food.. was edible .. prices we ok but overall food was not what you would expect.. But rest of stay and services were great"

"A warm and welcoming inn, with happy and helpful staff, a great, relaxed atmosphere and comfy beds! Loved our second stay here and would highly recommend. Room was spotless, warm, comfortable and quiet. We booked a family room to have space to lounge, and enjoy the view. The only downside is, although microwave and fridge are provided, there is no crockery, microwave bowls or cutlery. That's the only fault we had."

"I have stayed at the Alt a couple times recently and really like the location and accessibility to the downtown area. The rooms are clean and in good repair and the hotel is close to great food as well as the river. The only thing the remember is that you either have to try to find on street parking or pay to park under the hotel which is controlled by City of Calgary and $38/day."

"Cheap place. This needs to be called a motel"

"The is is my second time at this location. Rooms are clean, free breakfast is decent with lots of choices. Will definitely stay here again. Close to Deerfoot casino, and accommodations are much cheaper here than the casino."
