"Nice hotel in a very central location. The staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, with various options available. The pub and restaurant was pleasant and the meals that I ate there were to a very high standard. The room was fine, though a little tired and in need of an update. Shout out to Viktoria, who was super nice & never seemed to stop working!!"

"Staff were excellent and the room was very comfortable. The only thing I took exception to was having to pay 12 euros each way in the shuttle bus for a ride that was 6 minutes away. My experience has been that this service is usually provided free of charge. Otherwise all very good and breakfast was great!"

"This was an excellent place to stay for an early flight out of Riga. Some of the photos for this property are quite out of date-- our room was refurnished, clean, and well maintained. Also, the woman running the front desk was one of the friendliest people we had encountered in our travels-- kind and warm. We stopped by a bit early in the hopes of leaving our bags at the desk until check in, but since our room was ready, she let us check in and leave them in the room. Very easy walk to the...

"This place is in a very old building from hundreds of years ago. The rooms have been adapted with certain features from the original structure remaining as part of the individual room's character. In the result one finds it necessary to very cautious while moving about the room since huge wooden objects make head banging almost inevitable. Even requesting and receiving a different room there were still obstructions which posed major head banging risk. Never again, and extra warning if you...

"It was just a quick overnight before departure from Riga airport. Good for a price we paid. We arrived before midnight and still managed to get a final spot at parking lot. Typical breakfast and just a short drive to airport."

"Clean and well-equipped room. Very good breakfast and friendly staff."

"The room was clean but the sink was cracked and toilet seat broken. The window was too high up to open. Worst bit was it was opposite a night club that played music till 4 in the morning "

"God beliggenhet"

"The A1 Hotel was a great place to stay. It is very central and we walked everywhere. There are supermarkets near by and great places to eat like Tbilisi and Fish Corner. The breakfast was excellent with so much on offer, it was hard to decide what to have. The staff were all very helpful and the room was cleaned every day. The bathroom was spotless. The pool table was an added bonus. It was our first time to Riga and we will definitely be back and stay at the A1 Hotel. It isn’t fancy, but the...

"No pool No elevator Old design"

"Very poorly cleaned room, with dirty linen and not emptied trash cans. The street outside is very loud, but the tram and bus stations are very close by, which is convenient. Helpful reception staff, but with varying degrees of English."

"Nice hotel, friendly and supportive staff, good breakfast and overall value for money. Recommend rooms in the main hotel building."
