This was a great stay for three nights. The location is excellent for people wanting the Old Town on their doorstep! The staff are very friendly too and Breakfast is fine. I would stay here again next time I would visit Riga

The location is great but when you get in the hotel, there is a set of stairs with no elevator to get to lobby. When I got to my room, I noticed insects crawling on the wall and the sheets. I informed the hotel manager very kindly, and she became defensive. I believe/guess, the insects were bed bugs. I had to stay because all the hotels were sold out due to marathon. The hotel manager was not very professional. I literally suffered being in this room/hotel. All they did was changing the sheets after my remarks. The front desk staff were very polite and friendly. I tried to talk to the manager again but she was in another property.

The room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. There was a great choice at breakfast and the rooftop restaurant was cosy, with great views, excellent staff and great food and wine.

Thank you for amazing stay during Christmas time at Gutenbergs hotel.We were greeted by friendly and welcong receptionist Baiba who made sure we have a queen bed room instead of twin room, breakfast was nice in a nice room downstairs, location was great just stones throw from Doma laukums with all Christmas markets and ambience, recommend if you like to stay in the nicest part of Riga

This is a beautiful hotel right in the center of Old Riga (the Cathedral, which marks the effective center of the city, is next door). Great value for money. All of the key historical sites are within walking distance. The room was clean and had a unique style. The view from the rooftop restaurant is great. The breakfast is great. I have no complaints.
