"The receptionist was very helpful and welcoming when we arrived.
Allocated a room with a four poster bed, as I'm a little claustrophobic we asked to change room at reception, no problem at all. Overlooking the river with balcony we would definitely stay again in this room.
It is a little tired but clean and comfortable."
"I only had one dinner in the Greek restaurant but I felt the thickness of the pitta bread topped with chips before thin slithers of chicken just bulked the meal out and made you feel you were having something very unhealthy.
Due to no air con and high temperatures the room was incredibly hot and uncomfortable. There was a fan which helped to a degree. Could have been more generous with water, teas and milk although when I asked for more they immediately provided.

"Lovely location and tranquil setting. However our stay did not include breakfast and at £13 each we gave it a miss. Plenty of parking outside, although there were very few staff around, we had to call the hotel to get someone at reception."
"This property is absolutely unique, a 15th century building restored and updated in a charming way. The staff are all wonderfully friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was spacious, comfortable and the bathroom is luxurious! Thank you for the loveliest stay of our holiday."
