"One of the worst properties I’ve visited. There was no body soap, no hot water—can you believe that? There wasn’t even a microwave. I tried calling reception multiple times, but no one answered to address our concerns. The views are nice thanks to the surrounding nature, but overall there’s a lot that needs improvement."

"We stayed in the Old Barn section of the property and I think the name speaks for itself (although it shouldn't at a resort setting). The building has character, but also a very bad old smell. There are small things that can be changed to still keep the character but get rid of the old musk smell. The room was not very clean unfortunately. "My husband and I had a wonderful couple of nights at Chanterelle. We stayed in a room in the main building. We loved the peacefulness of the place. It was such a relaxing place to stay. Breakfast was delicious! We booked dinner for the one evening. We were so glad we did. It was an 8 course meal. Every dish was excellent! Would recommend if you’re looking for peace and relaxation and excellent food!"

"Clean room, hot tub was on deck. Super relaxing night. Close walk to main lodge for dinner and breakfast. Sauna was really wuick to heat up and had me sweating bullets. Beautiful views in a great location just off the main Cabot Trail road. Highly recommended. Will return"
