"We booked this location as it billed itself as a hotel with restaurant and bar. When we arrived about 15:30 and enquired about the restaurant we were told they close at 1600 but there were pubs nearby that would serve food. This was a Sunday so we spent the next hour trying to find somewhere that would serve food in the evening. We found somewhere.
The issue is that the location misrepresented itself on Hotels.com.
Had we known it was a bed and breakfast only location we would not have booked...
"Lovely couple who really went out of there way any queries that I had. Room was clean and cooked breakfast lovely. Would stay again if I ever stayed in Filey again"
"Property was perfectly situated within Filey, 5-10 minutes walk into the centre plus a Tesco superstore a few minutes walk away.
On street parking directly outside property and there was a pleasant welcome pack on arrival."
"Well appointed 2-bed property with comfortable furnishings, nice, modern decor which suits its location, a good bathroom and a well appointed kitchen perfect for cooking meals in.
Very short walk to the park ameneties (pool, shop etc) and a short walk to the dog-friendly beach for walks. Walkable to Filey along the beach but equally a very short drive and close to Bridlington as well makes this a perfect jumping-off spot for touring the Yorkshire coast."
"Loved every minute of our stay at Park View. (We did have fantastic weather for January which was an added bonus) Comfortable accommodation, warm, well equipped & in a great location. Parking & a gated garden also a bonus. Our dog enjoyed her walks in the nearby country park & along the beach. Town an easy walk away with a Tesco for essential needs. Lots of walking trails from doorstep. Recommend 👍"
"Really lovely property. Cosy and welcoming. Beds were great. Lovely care package for us when we arrived.
Shower could do with renovation and the oven a clean (it wasn't horrendous) but we would happily book this place again "
