"Stayed many times over the 3 years my son has been at UEA. Normally very good. Unfortunately the most recent was a little disappointing mostly due to the room I was allocated. I booked an executive single based on a previous stay in one of these rooms however the nicer rooms are actually only the doubles. It isn’t made very clear that an executive single purely means a slightly bigger bed. There’s nothing really executive about them (or room 15 anyway) whatsoever. In fact the room looks...

"The staff were friendly and helpful without being effusive. The room was clean and spacious although there was a distinct lack of power plugs in useful places. Breakfast was good and served promptly, as was dinner. The menu was more limited than in other places but the quality was excellent. The ambience and furnishings in the building were interesting."

"Stayed for one night on Saturday 17th October. The accommodation wasn't quite as expected, but a pleasant surprise. What I thought we were getting was a 'normal' double room. "Very charming staff, great breakfast as well as thoughtful service, sorted a breakfast for my hubby to go and even remembered the order next day. Room was lovely and toasty, just what you need after a frolick in the forest. Slept very well. Lots of walks nearby, even saw owls. EXCEPTIONAL food, rare for these days they cater for folks with proper appetites! Loved the friendly field cat! Thank you for a wonderful time we loved it. 🙏"

"The location was great for our needs. Very clean and tidy and the staff were lovely. Very helpful. Great gym. Some of the golfers were rather noisy late into the evening and early hours of the morning but overall a very pleasant stay"
