"We initially received an accessible room, but unfortunately the toilet flush was not working because the handle was broken. The duty manager was very helpful and offered us an alternative room in the building next to the hotel, which turned out to be lovely and very comfortable.
Overall, we had a positive experience. The hotel is pleasant and clean, and the staff are friendly, courteous, and helpful. The only area that may need some additional attention is general maintenance."

"I’m not sure if there is a newer section of this hotel where people stayed that gave positive reviews, but our room was as bad as it gets. The carpeting was torn, the bathroom wall had a floor to ceiling crack, the floor was slanted and flooring loose. I thought we may fall through to the restaurant below. Didn’t dare take a shower based on condition. The pillows were flat and the mattress was lumpy. I do not recommend! The only thing good about our stay was the nice gentleman behind the bar."
"The bedroom furniture was very old, tired and dressing table was sticky. Lampshades dull and falling apart. Holes in the curtains. Magnolia woodchip wallpaper and threadbare carpet.
The bed was listed as a double but was more like a queen bed.
Bathroom had peach 1960s tiles. A bath with a shower curtain and a trickle of water.
Evening meal in the hotel (fish and chips plus pizza) was inedible. Fish was a frozen, overcooked triangle, frozen chips and expensive. Handed it back and asked then to...
"Really enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Rooms are clean and to a high quality. Excellent shower and well glazed windows so we didn’t hear cars during the night. Staff very friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed the breakfast with plenty of gluten free options and the dinners we had were lovely also.
Make sure to visit scone palace nearby. Would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay again."
